A commemorative bottling of 21 year old Glenfiddich to mark a century of distilling from 1887 to 1987. It’s presented in a specially commissioned Wedgwood decanter.
This is a Wedgwood decanter adorned with the Glenfiddich stag, produced to celebrate the distillery’s official centenary in 1987.
Tasting Note
The nose is of medium-body with a good sweetness. Notes of burnt sugar and cereal sweetness against a chewy, oily oaken backcloth. The palate is quite full and quite sweet. Notes of vanilla and toasted oaken spice, a touch of buttery oak and mocchaccino notes with a development of fruit. The finish is soft and supple with a little tangy freshness and toffee sweetness with just a hint of spice on the tail.
