The smaller casks ensure more contact between spirit and wood, which means more sherry influence for this blended malt Scotch from the Campbeltown region, which finished its eight-year maturation in an oloroso sherry octave.
Tasting Note
Nose: Creamy grist and toasted oak are wrapped up in waves of brine and oily malt, while dates and prunes bring fruity sweetness beneath.
