It’s a limited edition 10 Year Old expression of the awesome Black Bottle blend! This time the Islay whiskies that make up the blend have been rested in casks for a decade, and after that time have of course been bottled up in the classic black bottle. A good balance of peat alongside more fragrant and fruity notes in here.
Tasting Note
Nose: Hints of smoke surround polished oak, aromatic spices and melted brown sugar, with apple sweeties and heather honey.
Palate: Gingersnap biscuits and milk chocolate digestives, apple cake and pear drops alongside fragrant peat smoke.
Finish: Golden syrup and spiced banana bread, with cinnamon and a lingering smokiness.
