Released in 2015, this is a blend of 88 different casks. The blending process was done using a unique process called Circular Blending.
Every fututre batch, will have half recasked and stored, essentially operating like a solera system.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: A rich enticing nose telling you of the sweetness to come, Demerara sugar, candied orange, delicate rounded mature oak.
Palate: Deliciously rich, smooth, honey laced mandarin orange syrup, liquorice, the sugars slowly give way to but are not overwhelmed by the mature oak.
Finish: A long lingering finish, tangy orange, a little pear and mild liquorice, the sugars finally give in leaving slightly drying oak. Another mouthful and the whole delicious cycle begins again.
